Wedding flowers can mean different things to different couples, so choosing the right florist can be quite daunting. It may not just be about the colour scheme or a favourite flower, but a place you love, a smell or someone you love. That's why I want to make every wedding as personal as possible, focus on the details, and create something that’s completely and utterly all about you.

I've been working with wedding couples as a Wedding Coordinator for over five years, so I know how overwhelming wedding planning can be, especially when there's so many expectations placed on you and its hard to not lose sight of what it is you actually want. So as your florist, I'll work with you to gather all your ideas and create something that is totally unique and personal to you. There's no set way of doing wedding flowers, and I love thinking outside the box. Whether you want all fresh, all dried or a combination of both, I'm confident you'll love whatever it is. No idea is off the cards. If you want to add bones, I have a box full I’ve collected on hikes. Want some mushrooms in your centerpieces? I love making them out of clay. The details that are meaningful to you are the bits I love the most, so don’t be afraid to tell me your ideas!

Everything I do is completely inspired by nature. So whether its a mid summer, bright and vibrant garden or the misty woods in autumn, I'll bring elements of those to my designs and maybe even a little bit of nature itself wherever is appropriate.

What makes you an alternative wedding supplier?

I'm an elder emo through and through and I'm not afraid to think outside the bog standard box. The traditional rules of floristry don't apply to me, and you won't see a block of floral foam within a mile of my work. I'm also a firm believer that weddings should never be dictated by what others think. You want bones in your bouquet? Amazing, I have a boxes of them that I find on hikes. You like mushrooms? I'm absolutely love creating them from clay and adding them to arrangements. I love nothing more than finding ways to get what you love into your flowers.

What do you do within your business to make it more accessible and inclusive?

Accessibility is something that is just part of my work and personal life. I've been working in events and festivals for 8 years, and my roles have always included improving access to venues and sites. I'm also neuro-spicy, so I fully understand that weddings can be even more overwhelming if its something you struggle with. I'll always work with you in a way that's best for you, so if I need to adapt my communication style or figure out a way to make your bouquet easy to hold, then I'll absolutely do that.

What is a defining moment for you within your business?

My little flower business is relevantly new, so just taking the leap getting myself going after I debated it for 10 years was been a defining moment! But I think being asked by another florist who I admire so much to help her build her installation at the RHS Tatton Flower Show in 2024 was pretty bloody awesome.
