Well, hello there! I’m Marilyn, your former model turned Midlands-based alternative wedding photographer! I’m all about keeping the vibes laid back and fun, capturing your love story though candid & raw moments.

As a tattooed mum and emo at heart, and I’ll arrive on the day singing along to pop punk anthems. I also have a cackle is that will fill out a room, so you KNOW I'm having a good af time when that comes out.

It’s important that your wedding gallery reflects who you are as people. So my approach is to keep things relaxed and as low pressure as poss for you. Whether you love the camera or feel a little awkward, it doesn’t matter! I’ll make sure you feel at ease and bring out what makes you shine!

What makes you an alternative wedding supplier? 

I think my main gimmick is that I never take myself too seriously. The vibe is given during my discovery calls when I show up to the crib with cat ear headphones on. I like to think that although I love the alternative stuff the most, I can still rock an editorial vibe wedding. I just add my own bit of spice to the table. Deffo an alt girly myself, full sleeved elder emo here 🤘🏻

What do you do within your business to make it more accessible and inclusive?

I'm a bisexual wife, and my forms and website are all inclusive! No gendered language for my couples, and it deffo seems to be working. I've done one LGBTQ+ wedding so far in my first year of business and I have 3 more lined up! I am a neurospicy gally, and a carer to my son with Autism who attends a SEN provision school. My entire live revolves around shaping and adapting my world to fit his needs, so adapting the way I work isn't a new thing in my world! I have done shoots with folk with disabilities too, and made sure they had plenty of rest time, and made sure they knew that they could tell me their comfort levels A while ago in my dead ass Tory town, there were rumors of a gay bar opening, and it got so nasty on the local community page. To make queer people feel wanted in my area, i offered free lovers shoots to whoever wanted them so we could celebrate their love instead

What is your favourite random fun fact?

A tortoiseshell cat will almost always be female! It's super rare to have a male tortie
